I'm heading to a week in the Alaskan ice fields and wanted a waterproof backpack to keep my cameras, lenses, and other equipment dry (and warm?). This spacially designed camera backpack looked like it would fit my needs.PROS:+good size for camera body and several lenses+ lots of extra pockets for filters and other photography and personal items+ travel tripod can be carried on the side of the backpack; water bottle too+ waterproof+ extra space for a change of clothes or other personal items+ solid construction+ adjustable dividers allow fit of whatever I'm carrying (e.g. - long telescopic lens versus short wide angle)CONS:- oversize for airlines as a carryon when fully open and packed- back support and straps are NOT adjustable for height or comfort (I'm 6'1" and need adjustment to make carrying comfortable)- straps across my body (stomach) are not adjustable to allow padding and straps closer to my hips; this means poor suport for heavier packs- side camera access zipper is unreachable when wearing the backpack, I needed to take backpack off left shoulder then sling entire backpack in front to reach the "fast access" zippered compartment, leaving me unable to take a photo without putting the backpack down (so much for FAST access)- no tripod straps at bottom of backpack as advertised onlineCONCLUSION: Too many design flaws make this unusable on a serious trip. It chould work well for a shorter hike or airplane carryon, but the design flaws mentioned above remain and limit this backpack's overall usefulness.
