It literally melted after a month of use

This is a bad product. I used it for a few days and opened my engine compartment only to find that the glass window was clogged with goo. After pulling off this filter, I discovered that the glass window is actually plastic and the gasoline melted it into a mass of goo. It clogged my carbs and created a lot of work for me to clean my carbs.I bought the KN fuel filter. It’s actually glass and no issues. Don’t buy this filter! It could have caused an engine fire.

Poorly constructed! Will not hold together for cars or boats or off-road use! Threads on one end is thin plastic threaded tube which stripped out on first attempt to install

The item looks great and appears well made. However I doubt if the engineers who developed the product took time to consider flow rates and fuel pressures as an integral part of their design.On my 1988 Honda Accord which has a carburetor after I installed the filter the car would idle fine but cut off when driving? I installed a new Bosch fuel filter next and it worked perfectly.The car was running excellent with the old Fram fuel filter before trying out the glass filter.The glass filter came with no instructions?
