I had an old hammer head that had an odd sized opening for the handle and with a small amount of effort I modified this handle to fit.I look forward to being able to use this hammer and handle for a very long time

Needed to replace my old janky ball peen hammer. This handle is more square than oval. You can see the slight gapping in the images. The spacers help make it a tight fit and it’s snug when the hammer head is going down the shaft.

I liked the fact that the fitment was very nice and it looked very good, I was so proud that I showed my wife how excited I was about fixing my old hammer. Turns out she didn't have the same excitement as I.
