I bought this product in late fall to use it in the spring once I had my scotter back out on the street. A few days ago I went to use it and i could not unlock the cable. I had 3 different people try and none of us could. The key went in but it turned and nothing. I went on to look online to see if there was a trick or any special instructions that i needed to follow. In reviewing some reviews, it turns out that this brand/model are notorious for their cables being impossible to unlock. Anything that it is this difficult to open, it is not worth anybody's money. I just wish i had tried it when i got it before i could not return it. So, I have basically wasted my money. Buyer be aware.I dont like to write poor reviews but I also think people should know what they are getting themselves into.

Das Kabelschloß macht einen soliden Eindruck.Leider sind auf dem Transportweg die Schlüssel abhanden gekommen, daher zurück geschickt.Das Kabelschloß währe zum Transport besser in einen Blister eingeschweißt.Neubestellung aufgegeben.Neubestellung ist mit 3 Schlüssel, von denen einer sogar mit kleiner LED-Leuchte ist, unversehrt angekommen. jetzt ist alles ok. Also 5*Trotzdem sollte der Hersteller das Schloß in einem Blister einschweißen, um den Verlust von Schlüssel zu vermeiden. (Umweltschutz hin oder her).

I am giving 1 star for the single reason that this was clearly a return. While the product works I am very disappointed in the fact that it was not disclosed to me to be a return. Had I known that I would not have purchased. The zip ties used to secure the cable to the cardboard had all been cut off and left in the package. Very misleading and disappointing. I expect more form Amazon Prime vendors.

This is a strong well made lock. I use it to lock my motorcycle to a fixed object which makes it harder to steal. People tell me that it's too bulky then they come back and tell me how their motorcycle was stolen. I like my bike so I carry extra security.
