I have many valuable/expensive cowboy hats that were getting damaged by falling off shelf. this was perfect for the collection. Easy to grab one and put it back. I love this hanger. It does take up a lot of closet space but worth it as it works so well.

Nice hat storage for hats sized fedora through cowboy hats. A large Stetson will curl a bit at the edges to get it to fit, but it makes it. You won’t be getting large bowler, stovepipe, or top hat style hats in here. Mine arrived with manufacturing defects; the bottom two hat bays had the clear plastic flap stitched to the body of the organizer; they wouldn’t open. The careful application of a razor knife corrected the issue, but it’s a thin material and any misses would likely have poked holes in the side.

I'm a real Prime Amazon customer, and I truly did buy this product. I really like this a lot. Looks great in the closet. It's very sturdy, so the individual compartments hold their shape well. Also, the velcro attachment that holds it on the closet bar is heavy duty and goes 11 inches across (almost the full width of the rack). It won't fall off the bar, even with some weight in it.I especially love the individual dust covers on each of the bin compartments. The dust covers are crystal clear-contents are completely visible. You just lift it up to access the hat (no zippers). I also like the mesh sides on the hat rack-they seem heavy duty and are well sewn-and allow the hats to breathe. Will not become musty smelling. Of course, if your concern is moths or the like, you would need a different product.I store my ladies' straw hats, which are fairly wide brimmed, and my Scala wide-brimmed fabric sunhats as well. There is enough room so that they don't have to squish out of shape in the brim area, and more than enough room so that the crown is fine. I've got as many as four hats of similar dimensions and shape (stacked compactly together) stored in several of the six compartments. Probably could put more, but don't want crowns hitting against the top of the compartment.Practically speaking, when it is actually hanging on the closet rod, each of the six bins measures about 12 and a half inches wide by a little over 8 inches height. It's 16 inches from back to front, and hangs down 52 inches from the top of the rod. The appearance is very handsome- an attractive textured black fabric that looks really easy to clean (smooth and waterproof-could be wiped off with dust cloth or with damp cloth). I would buy this again for sure. The seller was very responsive to questions and it's obviously a quality item. I recommend.
