I wanted to like this so badly. There are so many things it gets right that so many others get wrong. So what's good: The standouts 1) Great range of height. It's surprising how tall it can get. It can also sit on a table. 2) Even better, the phone clip can detach and becomes a kickstand type mount that you can use on a plane. 3) It's very light weight too. 4) Depending on your phone, it comes with a remote that potentially offers a lot more functionality than a simple shutter button. 5) The facial tracking is very fast to identify and track. Since the tripod can extend to standing height, it tracks better than ones that can only sit on a desk and look upwards. 6) The auxiliary mount is very useful for holding a light. Overall the motor seems to be able to handle a bit of weight. What's not good: The standouts 1) That great range of height works against it. Extended any more than maybe a foot or so, it starts to wobble. At full extension it really wobbles a lot when the facial tracking moves. 2) The facial tracking works but only if you move relatively slowly and stop moving or change direction slowly. If you move and then suddenly stop, the phone mount jiggles back and forth -- enough to make it not usable. Combined with the wobble, it really is problematic. It is also compounded by extra weight. 3) The balancing arm doesn't seem to do what it is intended to do or at least isn't heavy enough to smooth the rotation.Honestly, it's possible mine is just defective. When not locked (you can lock the mount so that it can't rotate), it seems loose which maybe is why it shakes back and forth when switching direction). If so, then this might be a definite winner. I'd have given it a 3 but it deserves some credit for all of the other things it does right.

Because of the selling price, I can give this a full 5 star award for its value.The unit is sturdy and steady. What I noticed is that when the unit is tracking, that I needed to move slowly. For normal use this is more than enough, especially since this is not an action camera product.For typical video conferencing calls and VLOG work, its great.
