Gives a very handy way to adapt an ethernet only connected device to a wifi network. That is the feature I used. It can also be a wifi range extender, which I did not use. It has WPS set up which makes it very easy to install.Versions lower than 2.0 are not supported by TP-Link Tether software. The refurbished unit I received was v2.0.

I uses this mainly for an external Ethernet connection, and it works great; boosts the Internet's connection from my WiFi router to my PS4 via Ethernet very well, and the connection speed is now twice as fast as it was when using solely a wifi connection. This extender did not seem to make much difference in WiFi extension, which I tested in several different locations in my house. This could be a reflection on the 'refurbished' product that I purchased...but who's to say? [BTW, my WiFi router is a TP-Link brand as well, thinking that they may be more compatible.]

The unit seems to work fine. Saved a couple of bucks. I’m not sure what is “refurbished” about these. I’ve bought 2 of them. Both of them still had the SSID of the “previous owner” and this second I got looked like someone had wiped a big booger down the front of it. It works but I wouldn’t call it refurbished. Let’s just call it used.

I needed a basic wifi extender for some wifi-connected lights I installed in the front of my garage in the soffets. While I have great wifi throughout my entire house, that's the ONE location I had poor connectivity. I kept losing one or more of the lights and controlling them consistently was a pain. I only needed 2.4Ghz for this area,I added this extender, moved the lights to the new SSID and bam- problem solved. The extender is plugged into the ceiling outlet where my garage door opener plugs in.If you get one of these, DO NOT FORGET to actually log into it and set the password!

Venia muy sucio y como si ya fuera usado. Cuesta trabajo sincronizarlo con el módem, tienes que ir intentando opción por opción.Una vez trabajando funciona bien.

La facilidad de la instalación no fue muy adecuada, tuve que leer varios Manuales y videos para hacerlo, se los recomiendo ya que al inicio no es de pica botón y listo. Pero su estabilidad, precio y calidad superan las expectativas... altamente recomendado.Si te gusto mi review , dale like!

Hasta el momento no ha dado ningún problema y cumple bien con su función. En relación calidad-precio cumple con las expectativas.
