I expect better from TP link. When TPlink first started, they had a lot of buggy products, with second rate software. But recently they gave me the impression that those days of selling second rate products were over. Not so, it seems. Beware of these LEDs. Honestly there are SO many companies selling led strips, best to just stay away from these all together. I have many many LED strips, and I work in IT, and I own dozens of smart products.Problem 1: They advertise these as usable light. But the quality of white lite is just terrible as they don't have a white led. Just RGB. For an RGB led, it's not bad. But you could NEVER use these as a room light.Problem 2: There is no MIC. So if you want to use this to go with the beat of the music, you need to be standing near the speaker all the time as it uses your phone MIC!!!Problem 3: The software doesn't work at all on my network. According to "trouble shooting", I'm expected to change my entire network subnet in order to use these. That is crazy to even suggest!Problem 4: I assume many users are returning these as they sent me 2 used ones, before sending me a new one.

Brillante, muy fácil de usar por medio de la app en el celular, tiene muchas funciones y las luces tienen diversos tramos independientes que la hacen ver fabulosa, los efectos visuales son impresionantes, totalmente recomendable

Buen producto lo instale en barandal de escaleras, lo malo es que un tramo se desprendio tan solo ejerciendo poca presion

These were wonderful and my daughter absolutely loved them. Then about 6 months later they stopped working. She was constantly trying to reconnect and then they just stopped altogether. Very disappointing.

La calidad es muy buena, me gustó que se pueden personalizar con muchísimas opciones, programar encendido y funciones y la compatibilidad con Alexa las hace insuperables

I have seen many complaints about the app and how lack luster it is. I have a small 3d printing farm and so I have worked hard at making my work space look good. I use many of the tapo products as I have tapo web cams on all my printers, tapo smart switches on all my printers, and some of the tapo smart bulbs in the same room. I love the smart tech but hate having to control each individual gadget with a different app. With the tapo gear it has been a breeze to have it all organized in one room. I have had led light strip before but they usually had that cheap remote anyone that has led devices knows well. many of them the sticky never lasts and your lights are falling all the time. these stuck very well and I love being able to program my own colors or use the pre configured light modes that come with it. one of my favorite is the lighting effect!

This is the fourth light strip I have worked with and is the best of the bunch. This light strip will work with a dual band router, while many others will not. Also, this is RGB-IC - so it uses three color LEDs to create all colors and the LEDs are individually controlled, allowing you to have different colors and effects, not just one color at a time with limited changes or brightness adjustments. If you want to create custom light effects, RGB-IC is what you need. I ordered these light strips for less than $30 which is a very good deal, even better when you consider these are RGB-IC with WIFI and can be controlled via the TOPO app and via Alexa. I have tried light strips that would only work on a single 2.4 GHz band, no dual bands, but these worked with a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz router, although I am guessing they connect on 2.4 GHz. I had recently moved from the TP Link Kasa app to the TP Link Topo app, if you have things set up on the Kasa app, you can migrate to the Topo app very easily. The Topo app lets you set these light strips up in around 3 minutes. Just plug the strip in to the controller, the power adapter into the controller, plug the power adapter into a power outlet and the lights start chasing in green and orange. Select add device on the Topo app and follow the instructions. It will need for you to enter your WIFI password, but the whole process is painless. Once connected the lights chase a pink and blue. The app lets you schedule, set colors, set or create effects, etc. There are a number of different effects you can choose for the light strip such as lightning, rainbow, candy cane, etc. or you can create your own.. You can control down to small groups of lights for almost endless possibilities. The power supply is a 12V, 3.6A bayonet type supply and the controller has only one button for on/off. The thing I did not realize until I got the light strips is that you cannot extend the light strips by plugging them together, which probably makes sense based on the level of control you have with the individual lights. However, the controller does come with two connectors, so you can connect both light strips to the controller at the same time. The strips are 16.4 feet long each as indicated on the product page, but you can also cut them to length at the specific cut locations indicated on the strips. If you want a light strip and especially if you already have Kasa or Topo devices from TP Link, this is the light strip to buy.

Es muy buen producto, tiene una luz intensa y es muy sencillo de configurar. Me habria encantado que ambas tiras se pudieran configurar por separado (configuras una y la otra es un espejo) pero la verdad es que esta muy bien por el precio.
