I got these cause I wanted some nice silicone type utensils for cooking. This one seemed like one of the best out there compared to other types. But it's not perfect!A month after getting them I saw a coworker usinf a spatula that looked almost the same but a few differences (Glade company I think?) Where the spatula had a slightly different hole patern (or lacked any?) but more importantly it had a small hook on the end. Again this looked almost the same. These would have been better if they had a hook on the end for hanging.Other problem though is I dropped the tongs when trying to hang them off a hook and it fell and cut a small slit where the inside metal is covered by the silicone.This isn't the fault of the company, and I fixed it with some silicone bonding agent so that way food etc wont get stuck in there and grow mold but still annoying.Oh and the scrapping spatula has a small gap where it meets the metal which came with the label purposly wrapped around that spot. Thus if food etc. gets stuck in there and not cleaned out means mold or stuff in the future, not good. Thus why I like my slightly expensive GIR spatulas (Get it right brand) which are completely covered thus no need to worry about those horrible gaps on so many kitchen utensils these days.

Huge fan of Tovolo kitchen products, especially their silicone spatulas and matching kitchen utensils.Unfortunately the new ‘dual core’ spatula design is nowhere as a desirable shape as the new their original flat edge on one side and rounded other the other, cleaner and more complete bowl scraping and all around superior product. Also previous stainless steel handles were better design, more comfortable in hand and too thick and heavy. While I still like the new spatulas, I find myself looking at other brands, and used online auctions and thrift stores looking for the excellent original spatulas. The rest of the tool set is great, and makes a great housewarming gift, gift for your friends and family that like to cook or even as part of a wedding gift etc. Overall outstanding products. Especially with stainless handles.

Bought this as a gift and they love them. I own these too, easy to keep very clean, work great, high heat and NO BPA helps keep you health. Great products
