NO WARRANTY! NO WARRANTY! NO WARRANTY!Unbelievable, Sold by Amazon.com and no warranty. Toshiba shows the serial number as an OEM drive without warranty.Drive started failing after a couple weeks but was recoverable. Total failure now at 6 months of moderate use.Absolute garbage, couldn't be more annoyed with Amazon and Toshiba.

I am 171 days into an RMA with Toshiba for a replacement hard drive after the one I purchased failed.I was required to pay $35 for shipping, and they have offered me a gift card in USD for the price of the product, however they are not including shipping, taxes, or any other fees. The gift card they offered has not arrived, and I have been getting the run around from their RMA department for 171 days.Need I repeat: I do not have a hard drive or a refund after 171 days of emailing twice a week for a status update.There seems to be nothing that can be done to escalate this issue, as Toshiba's RMA supervisor (Linda Alvey) keeps shutting my case down - stating that she will "email corporate". I cannot stress how terrible this experience has been.I will be doing everything in my power to prevent any and all purchases of Toshiba products going forward at my own business, contractors, and vendors.

I've standardized on Toshiba for years now and haven't had to replace one yet. Much lower defect rate then popular brands. I recommend them highly.
