I clipped this to my BCD and ran the ring through my flashlight. It holds it at the perfect length and releasing the clip underwater when needed works well. Also easy to re-clip when finished to keep items up and out of the way when getting out of the water.

This is a well constructed diving lanyard.It has two metal parts. The metal ring which is easily replaceable if it corrodes and the metal clip which appears to be made out of well polished stainless steel which should be fairly corrosion resistant.The lanyard coils compactly and the buckle allow you to effectively shorten the lanyard when you are not using the accessory that you have attached to the end. When you unclip the lanyard extends past the length of your arm with minimal effort.I would have given this product a 5-star review but one of its website picture claims that the lanyard rotates on the ends which is not true. So because of that claim that is not verifiable on the product that I got, this lanyard loses one of its rating stars.
