Makes changing the hog ring so easy. The pliers took all the frustration out of removing the old ring and the block made installing new new one very easy also. So glad i bought this kit and not just a block.

Ordered this for my Milwaukee 3/8 stubby. It works great had no issues putting the o ring or the hog ring, the install tool worked exactly as it should. My problem was that I had to beat a socket on to help close the hog ring on the anvil. Once I did that I was able to swap sockets without any issues. Like instated before you might have to find a way to close the hog ring on the anvil if you're having issues.

if you use impact wrenches you are gonna replace the hog ring sooner or later. These rings and o'rings fit my 3/8" daily use DeWalt sub-compact wrench perfectly. But they are kind of a commodity.What shocked me was the free tool. Sounded like a gimmick....but was amazingly simple idea and even more simple to use. Sure, replacing the ring is not a world-class problem. But, a simple no-brainer, no effort tool always gets my attention. Buy these, get the rings you need and the tool may delight you as it did me.

Working for Dewalt Xtreme so far. Not a super snug fit, but it was super easy to install.
