Comprei duas das três coleções de lápis de cor da Tombow Irojiten Color Dictionary em uma loja de usados. A Tombow é uma empresa japonesa porém o lápis é feito no Vietam, diferentemente de outras marcas como Sakura e Holbein que são verdadeiramente feitos no Japão. Uma decepção em relação à procedência e também em relação ao custo benefício. Os lápis não são ruins, mas só para se ter uma ideia, os lápis da Tris (nacional), da coleção Vibes, são também provenientes do Vietam, com o mesmo tipo de acabamento do barril, e praticamente a mesma mina, por um preço muito inferior ao da Tombow. Não vale a pena.

Beautiful pencils!!Unfortunately the lovely packaging was spoilt by the vendor who stuck a local label on it and ripped it off, ruining the sleeve holding the set of boxes.

I have wanted these for a long time but I put off ordering then because of mixed reviews. I wish I ordered them sooner. They are great pencils. One of the things I like most if that they have very unique colors. They are a harder pencil, but they are not too waxy. They layer beautifully. If you are looking for a soft waxy pencil like Prismacolors, these are not the ones you want. I have both and I find they both work well in different ways. I find the Tombows to work well on the kinds of paper prismacolors don't do as well on. Tombows are nice for sketching or coloring detail like hair were you want to see the texture. Some people complained that some of the colors are too light, that is the way they are supposed to be. It is not that they don't have enough pigment. It's just the pigment is light. I used the light grayish tones to color some botanical pictures and I love how they came out. The box is cute but I both love and hate it at the same time. I like how they are divided into groups. It is fun to color with just one book at a time but sometimes I want to use all the pencils. It can be a pain to look through the boxes to find what I need. I plan on buying the other sets soon. I will probably end up putting them in a slotted pencil case, still keeping them in book order.

Love these pencils ,I waited so long to get them,they slide along the paper like butter,the colours are amazing,I have all 3 volumes,,they all came in a package surrounded in air bubbles to keep them safe,,I'm a happy camper,,

Great coloured pencils. Love the different tones you don't find in other brands. The pastel colours are beautiful. I have ordered the other two sets too!
