My goal was to create miniature paintings. I figured the fine tip would allow me to create detail and the brush would allow for background work. I'm not sure what I was expecting, I found them to behave more like markers than a watercolor brush. I did play around with mixing them on a pallet and also tried blending them on the art piece itself with a brush. At this point I realized that a good old-fashioned set of watercolor paints made more sense for me. Now that being said I can see how if they were put in the right hands they could and they do create beautiful art. My daughter has created some nice art with them. Just know that you will need to figure out how you want to approach the art you have in mind to create. I suggest watching videos of people using these to create the art that is most similar to your art or style before you invest.

The colors are nice, though a couple of the pens don’t seem to be as full as the others - they don’t write as smoothly.

Good large tip brush pens. The colors are really vibrant. Though blending is slightly difficult to achieve with these pens.
