Installed in a homemade power box. 12v 18 amp hour battery to take camping for some extra power. Worked great and love that the voltage as well as the faster usb charging ports are on it

Replaced my 12v port in my vehicle with this unit. Installation was simple as the opening in the bezel was the same!Once dropped in place, the lock ring holds it securely from the back. I removed the cover as I didn't need it inside. The factory harness of my vehicle already used large female spades for the factory port, though it was in a molded plug that had one mounted at a different angle. I was able to de-pin the harness and connected the female spade terminals directly to this unit.Have been using this daily for a while now, charges my phone quick and displays vehicle voltage correctly. Getting 2 at this price was nice, the second one will go in my other vehicle.

This is a great upgrade to our older RV, After installing the units in our RV we now have the ability to charge our devices (3) at a time with no issues. Drilled the hole connected the wires and that was it. Depending on where you are installing you may have to remove access panels and run the wires so the installation may take longer, as for us we had several locations close to existing wires and easy to remove and install panels.

Last year or so I've really gotten into batteries and building battery boxes, so these are handy additions to the boxes. They are okay made, not high quality, but good enough for what they are. Plus great for portable power for phones and similar devices.The first one I hooked up did not work. After bypassing the fuse section, it works just fine. So either the other part of the wires is bad, or the fuse is bad. I'll have to investigate closer. The other one works just fine.I do like them, they will be useful. Price is fair. If they were made a little better, and the wires all worked, this could be 5 stars.
