I tested and found the free version really does send notifications over cellular without using local internet connection. Paid has some features that are worth the subscription so i might get it.What i like most using free version;Notifications are instantApp also works with my smoke detectorsRange for sensors is good, I've got one about 50 feet away from the base.Fairly easy to installUsing the history log i can see which door is which sensor then rename it so i know what door is being usedThis much home security used to cost thousands, now it's really inexpensiveConnecting the devices was really easy and intuitiveWhat i think could use improvement;Could use a way to silence the alarm from the remote, hitting the unlock button takes around 10 seconds to work.Still don't understand the difference between away and home modes, or how the sensors can tell the difference between entrance and exit.Overall, would absolutely recommend. I'm sure the paid version has much more customization.

Por el precio me parece un excelente sistema de seguridad. Se puede controlar desde el celular.

These sensors are a great addition to my home security and make me feel a lot better while I’m at home and away. It immediately alerts if it’s triggered and I’ve tested it numerous times and it works well.

I looked at several alarm systems in this price range, and what helped me decide on this item was not having to incur a monthly cost with an alarm system. Truth be known, there is a small (think it was $5) monthly fee if you want text message alerts when you are not home, but I did not need/want that.Setup could have not been easier, as my kit had both the remotes and the FOB's pre-paired. I unbox, applied adhesive tape, and then deployed the sensors. The sensors work well and were easy to deploy. The base station/siren was also easy to setup. The biggest challenge was not seeing the switch on the base station, I though it was just decoration and not a switch. Once I figured that out, I was off to the races.The siren is loud, and I have it next to my bed as to wake me in the event I have a "visitor" after hours that was not expected. The FOB's make arming and disarming simple, and you can completely ignore the app if you don't want to use it, once deployed.So, my minor issues:I did not read the instructions, I just started to setup OOB. I struggled for about 5 minutes trying to turn on the base station/siren. Once I figured out the power switch, it was easy to do the rest.The app is good, but busy. You can find everything, but there are plenty of features. I found the screen to show the sensors, and they were all pre-paired. Same with everything else. I wish they numbered the sensors, such as renaming them to Sensor1, sensor2, etc. I still have to figure out which is which at some point, but not critical and I discovered a way to do this (more later on that).The app shows many, and I mean many, other sensors you can add, from a mailbox alert when you get mail, to water and temperature sensors to turn on a fan or AC if the temperature gets above a set temp. The issues I have is that I could not find any of these sensors on Amazon, or elsewhere. I wish the company, Tolvivio, had their own site so I could buy what is not on Amazon.The base station is bright, and I did not see any option to completely turn off the light. You can put it in "night light" mode and a dim red light replaces the bright white, but in the end I used duct tape to completely block out the light. Make sure you do not cover the speaker if you do this.End issues.I added some extra sensors, and this was easy and I did actually read the instructions for this step. Again, super simple.You can set a sensor to trigger even if the system is disarmed, and you can do this on 1 sensor at a time. So, to track down which sensor is which, you set the sensor to "alert when disarmed", then open the door, and you can figure out which is sensor #1, etc. So in the app, set a sensor to "triiger when disarmed, then go start to open doors. When the alarm goes off, you know that sensor is the one you changed in the app. Now rename that sensor to "sensor #1", and then change the setting back to default, Repeat for the rest of your sensors.

At first impression I was really excited with these sensors. The included instruction booklet seemed straightforward and the app downloaded easily. In fact when I added my gateway unit all four sensors that came with the unit auto populated. Too easy! Unfortunately, it was. I was about to install the sensors on my doors when I thought I'd try them out. I armed them and then separated the magnetic counterparts. They blared a siren. Great. They work! So I disarmed them and went to install. The second I moved the magnetic counterparts away from each other the alarm blasted. Tried all the units and all the same. So I thought maybe there was an issue since they all auto populated and weren't added by me individually. I deleted all sensors and started adding them back. Three added back no problem. The fourth, the entryway sensor with delay feature, will not add back. Tried several times. No luck. So thought I'd test the three that were added back. Unfortunately the same issue. Even in disarmed mode all sensors were active, even when the app specifically shows they should not be armed when in disarmed mode. I suppose I could use them and just manually switch them on and off each time via the button on the sensor, but that seems to defeat the point of having them linked to the app and having one cohesive alarm unit. And I could easily see forgetting to turn one off and opening the door. These won't be used in my house.

Es un buen instrumento de seguridad que cumple con la descripcion del producto, es muy facil de instalar y no tiene ningun problema en cuanto al manejo con los controles que vienen en el paquete. Aun no lo he utilizado con la conexión al celular debido a que el lugar donde lo instalé aun no tiene internet.Un detalle a tomar en cuenta es que el sonido que emite la bocina no es muy alto, es decir, funciona para alertar a quienes estan dentro de la casa pero no se esucha mas alla de la cochera, lo cual genera un problema ya que si estas auscente pues, no sirve de mucho que genere un sonido que ni siquiera los vecinos alcanzarán a persibir, espero esto se solvente al menos con las notificaciones en la aplicacion al momento de instalarla.
