I tried trying to small pairs of cotton underwear. They were no drier than when I put them in. I rung them out thoroughly to the point of dampness and there was no difference after one hour. In addition to that the bag attached to the device is extremely poor quality and I am sure will rip after the first or second use. Like everything else this is cheap China crap :-(

Had very limited space to pack. Just plug it in and it works like a charm. Small size so limited amount you can dry but I knew that going in.

This product is one that really impressed me as I have always assumed a dryer needs to be a big machine. The small mini dryer has been perfect for little items like underwear, socks and even light shirts. I've used it at home and also on a trip where I was packing light and needed to wash clothing in the middle of the trip.How the dryer works is pretty simple. You place your clothing item in the small bag on the bottom. Of course you need to wring it out as much as possible, once inside you hang up and turn on the machine. The warm air is captured inside the balloon like bag and begins to dry the item. It does take a little time, but it's perfect for a quick dry of certain items. Realistically a pair of jeans or a jacket wouldn't be effective for this dryer, but smaller items definitely will get dried without issue.Trying different items, the socks and undergarments (I usually only did a max of two items in the dryer) took about 20 minutes. I also dried a light blouse which took slightly longer. As surprised as I am about this product, I think it's worth the value as it works very well.

This is basically a mini hair dryer that blows hot air. I have used a hair dryer to dry wet clothing. I have also used a fan which does a great job if you spread your wet clothing around and aim the fan wind at them. This comes in handy when you know you will not have anything that can dry some clothing. This can only dry a lightweight shirt, maybe socks if not too heavy, underwear, bra, slip, kids' lightweight clothing, etc. I washed a load of clothes and then removed some wet underwear both male and female, a pair of cotton socks, and a bra. I stuffed them in the net bag, plugged in the dyer (it runs on electricity - it is not rechargeable), and turned it on. I let it run for almost two hours and the only thing that was still a wee bit damp were the heavy-duty cotton socks. It needs electrical power to operate, it would be great if this were rechargeable. I doubt that I will ever need to use it but just in case I pack it when we travel. It does work as described and everything is compact, the net bag folks into the unit so nothing gets lost.
