After trying lightweight silicone and canvas watch bands, I have to say, how much I appreciate a bit of weight on the band. Watch bands inevitably get wet, and that makes them stick, somewhat, to your skin, and that sticky-ness makes for dis-comfort. At times this results in the watch sitting high-up, or low-down, on your wrist. Either way, if you want to move it, it's difficult because it's 'sticky'.The added weight of this watch band makes it easy to simply flick your wrist around to break that stickiness, and move the watch up or down your wrist (centrifugal force?)(Does anyone wear a watch band secured to exactly one position on their wrist?)I also find that the metal (chain) links of the bracelet, results in the watch band typically, collapsing around my wrist, and resting with the back of my watch (with its green lights) directly on my skin. With my silicon and canvas bands, there would be a tendency for a gap to exist, as the slight stiffness of the material can tend to hold the watch up (leaving a gap for light to shine out... does that matter much?).To release the clasp, and open up the wristband, a pinching action, across the width of the clasp section is required. It provides a positive locking mechanism and is quite secure. It is NOT a simple spring clip.In order to adjust the circumference size, the links can be fiddly to add-on and take-off, especially to get an optimal fit, multiple fittings will be required.I found a slightly looser than 'nice fit' (when temperatures are mild) to be optimal for me (for when temps warm up). The difference between 'optimal' and 'nice' was a half link.(The half size links enable a min adjustment of about 3 mm.)Overall, I would say that the additional weight of this watch band adds to its comfort, certainly not a dis-comfort at all, and I do wonder why most manufacturers promote the lightness of their product, as a benefit. I've found it to be quite the opposite.Edit:After wearing this band for several weeks, I must add a couple of additional points.Years ago, I used to wear a stainless steel (Seiko) band, and in comparison to this band, the finish is 'not as good'. Specifically, the edges and corners are less rounded. Especially the clasp's corners can, at times, be poky (as in 'corners that sometimes poke you', see picture). These are not a great discomforts, but need to be mentioned, especially if you expect a 'quality' band. (You get what you pay for.)There is also a question of style, and while that is a personal choice., it's worth drawing attention to.

Disappointed with how dark the band is . Was hoping to match the titanium colour of my garmin epiz pro...titanium is darker than silver colour and this brand offered 3 colours ...grey, silver and black! I thought "ideal" ! Instead the colour was very dark...almost black. I also notice that finger prints stain and darken even further the colour . I have large wrists and still needed to take 3 large links out . I'd return it except I'd taken the protective plastic off it. 😟
