I really like it, I replaced my broken one that broke in half. This one is bigger and stronger. Can use both ends.

First, season this pestle, as it is a powerful kitchen tool....it makes short work of just about anything you want to crush, because it fits the hand nicely and is heavy enough to pound it out with the rounded end while being delicate enough (with the smaller end) to allow you to crush leaves, onion and fresh garlic. ive been a chef for decades and this has allowed me to be much more versatile with the seasonings i use because i can put together previously unconsidered combinations (pineapple and cumin, for example...or sausage and pineapple).

Great product! Fits the bowl well, has a great weight and ergonomic feel. Got this to replace a smaller pestle that cracked and I will be purchasing this again for gifts to friends and family.

I had bought the marble bowl, mortar, second hand but the pestle was in bad condition. This is the perfect replacement for it.

Es perfecto pero mi morero es pequeño. Debí checar mejor el tamaño antes de comprar.
