We use it in the window at work. When the guys drop stuff off in the window they hit the gong so we know to look for it. Sound is nice but smaller than I thought it would be.

I put this gong in the kitchen I work at to call down servers. Very nice sound, and gets there attention very easily. It can be quite unsturdy if you hit it hard, but I taped it down to the countertop and now it works like a dream. Probably one of the funniest things I have ever bought, 10/10 would recommend.

Tonal quality is ok. It sounds a little bit muted. The best tone quality is achieved by striking the gong toward the side of the circle, halfway between the middle and the edge. Poor reverb. Sound only lasts for about a half-note before dispersing. It's a good gong to use in ritual when there's no other option, however, I would prefer a gong with a stone, reverbing tone.Be careful running your fingers along the edge of the gong while handling it. The edges are jagged and have not been rounded off.

I bought this to put by my bar, so that when people finish making their drink they could ring the gong and feel a sense of drunken, child-like joy. This tiny cheap gong serves that purpose very well. The stand screwed together in less than a minute. It's really not that hard. The dowels that connect the base and the top are threaded the opposite directions, you just sandwich the dowel in between the base and the top, and twist in the direction that screws them together. It's tiny, it's cheap, it makes a gongy noise when you hit it with a stick, its probably going to be broken in a few months after a drunken-mishap. 10/10

This thing was such a pain to put together! I couldn’t even screw the wooden dowels in, I finally just had to bang it in with a hammer. It comes as four main pieces, the top, two dowels, and base. The dowels have to be screwed into both the top AND the base. You get one side then you’re just kind of at a loss for the other. Plus the pieces were ill fitting.
