Fits great and so lovely on my bed! Definitely a great value for the money. Soft and well-made. Washed them first to remove packing wrinkles, and they are good to go!

When item was received I was pleased with the color & quality of fabric, so I put them in the wash to use them on my king sized pillows… so disappointed to find how ridiculously long the shams are… my standard king size pillow leaves approx 8 extra inches of fabric hanging at the opening.Unfortunately since they have been washed I can’t return and now have 3 sets of shams that look floppy on my bed… 😣

I need a bonus pair oversized pillows on my bed, and not just to "dress the bed" as if I were creating just some kind of Macy's showroom or model home display that needs to be removed every night in order to sleep. Remember: real women have curves, and this extra set of queen size pillow shams are working for me day and night: propping me up to read in bed before it's lights out...then helping support my arms and knees in ways required to keep my spine aligned throughout a good night's sleep...then shift again and prop up both my knees and head just high enough to grab a pen and fill three sheets within a spiral notebook with what we artist-types call Morning Pages...(then make the bed to start my day with tacit understanding it may very well be unmade by 2 or 3 PM for my siesta time. These extra sets of pillowcases help me do all of the above. It's an extra bonus that they also help my bedroom look so great all day.

So, I ordered a set of two of the blush colored Queen size pillow shams. They're a lovely shade of light pink. The fabric is very smooth and soft. I have no doubt they are actually 1000 TC or pretty darn close to it.Only problem is they are HUGE!When I opened them up and saw how big they were, I actually got my tape measure out to see.Y'all, one pillowcase is 34" wide (that's almost a full yard stick!) and 24" tall. Now, you have to realize that there's a 2" seam all around the case that gives it the "European Style" look. So if you take that into consideration, you subtract 4" from the dimensions. But even then, the opening for your Queen size pillow is still a whopping 30" wide by 20" tall. Now, I looked up the standard pillow sizes and it DOES say that a Queen size pillow measures 30" x 20", so I guess they are the correct size. But, maybe I just have crap pillows or something, because my pillows look dinky, not fluffy and full, in these pillow shams.Besides, whenever you're using a pillow covering or sham, it's more for decorative purposes. You want your pillow to appear fluffy and full so you buy the pillow the next size up from what the sham or case measures. That's standard practice. So in order for your pillow to look full in this size sham, you would want to encase a 22" x 32" pillow. That's not a standard pillow size. The next size up is King, which is 20" x 36". So, if you do that, then your pillow is still gonna look loose / whimpy on the 20" sides but overstuffed on the 30" sides. It's just a weird fit. That's all I'm saying.

I’m not a fan of the way they feel - I thought it might have been silkier, but they feel rough. It feels more like it’s made for people who have their lives together and want to show it by having matching bedcovers in a guest bedroom, if that makes any sense about the quality. I’m hoping that cleaning them will help with that as well as the wrinkles that come from being stuffed in a box and shipped. They are HUGE! They seem even bigger than they are because they add about 2 inch edges to the seam of your pillow all around. They literally could be used as a blanket if you need to - you could probably repurpose this as a piece of clothing for a kid, it’s so big.All in all, they so the trick, and don’t seem to rip apart very easily unlike other pillow cases I’ve used. It’s just a shame it’s not a texture I like! I would probably end up using it for the pillows further back and not the one I’m directly laying on.
