I bought this for my daughter and she loves it! Works very well and she likes the holes that release a little steam. She recommends it.

The Hestan universal lid is a great addition to the kitchen, even though it doesn’t form a perfect seal. It’s incredibly handy when you don’t want to scramble for the right lid, and it lets out just the right amount of steam, making it perfect for cooking dishes like risotto or steaming vegetables. I’ve even used it in place of a parchment paper lid, and it works nicely.The build quality is excellent, it’s hella solid, and it feels like it’s made to last. One of my favorite features is the hook on the handle, which allows me to hang it neatly with the rest of my pots and pans. It’s a versatile, well-designed lid that earns its spot in any kitchen.One last thought, I would argue that even if you don’t have the pot pan set the lid so long as it fits the diameter of your offbrand pot and pan would still be a good fit

I use it all the time! Covers most all of my pans perfectly! Pricey, but worth EVERY penny.

I have a wide array of pots and pans. That means I also have a wide array of pot lids.I was hopeful I could reduce my pot lids and the time spent looking for them with a pair of “universal” pot covers from the Thomas Keller line from Hestan.The photos show the two Keller “universal” covers. The large cover is shown on a Hestan non stick Titium 11 inch pan. The handles don’t really line up so I use the cover “side saddle” on the Hestan pan but it’s a bit unstable - it wants to slide off.The smaller cover is seen on a Demeyre sauce pan. In both cases, the Keller “universal” tops fit better upside down. But that limits pot and skillet room.Apparently these covers are only “universal” for the Keller line of Hestan pans. That’s an oxymoron - “universal” covers that only fit very specific pans? Ok.I bought both lids on a Black Friday sale and I do use them but not as much as I had hoped. Good luck
