I have been trying to replace a very old laptop, but I did not want to get a new generation with huge prices. I found this T480 laptop and I am very happy. Not only met my budget, but the performance exceeded my expectations. I love the Think Pad T series laptops. Now I am considering getting another system for a friend. The laptop looks like it was brand new with not a single blemish or scratches. I am a 100% satisfied customer.

Was what I was looking for at a very affordable price. Everything functioned as described. No issues at all.

Cosmetically, the laptop looks perfectly. However, as I began to use the system it became apparent there were issues. Firstly, the screen is advertised as "Full HD 1920x1080" which it is not, it's capped out at 720p 1366x768.Secondly, it came with Windows 11 and not Windows 10. That's not particularly bad, but it's still not as advertised.Thirdly, the webcam ports were completely sealed / blocked with plastic, yet there is a camera on the other end because it loads.And lastly, there's a periodic screen flicker. Very annoying and pretty upset. Not worth the ~$400. The vendor tried to “compensate me” for $30 even though an FHD screen costs $90-150$.
