These socks are breathable. There is a left and right sock with markings for each. They look funky but they are good for hot weather hiking or chilling in the house. I would order again.

Just about all I purchase are toe socks and I can definitely attest to the quality and fit of these. They are very lightweight. Fit is perfect, easy to put on. Material feels like it has a high cotton content. Very cooling, great for wearing in the summer heat. Plus, I love the colors... very fun!

I got a pair of these Rose Red color, around crew length outdoors socks for my partner. This is what she had to say:"I wouldn't be any bigger than a 7.5 women's at absolute most. Any bigger and you might rip the sock.Stretch them out a good bit, wear them in, grip by rim and pull up, it would help if you put foot powder on so your heel doesn't grip the sock as you're pulling up. The compression is fine, even better if you fold them over. They have nice textures and shock absorbers. A little warmer than you'd think, they would be great for fall especially.Oh and the foot size is more like an 8, maybe up to a 9. So my 7.5 foot can barely get through the neck of it. Upon washing, I think the socks fit me better in the heel area.So ultimately it's good for size 7 in US women's, or 5 in US men's. If your foot's any bigger than 7.5 it wont go in. If it's smaller than a 7 the foot part is gonna be a bit big."As for my two cents, this product is a one size sock, which implies that if you like the product and buy it, it should fit you regardless of the size of your foot. This is not the case, and by a long shot. If I were to attempt to put these socks on my size 11 feet, my foot or the sock would never be the same again. Honestly, the socks are rather beautiful and interestingly textured, they otherwise are high quality and warm, but there is no size given. The product description lists the features of the socks, nothing more. Until this product is updated with a dropdown menu for shoe sizes, this product is pointless, which is a shame, it is quality worthy of the price otherwise.

This single pair of socks (two socks total), is relatively expensive for the price, but you are getting a quality pair of socks that is made from natural and synthetic materials for the main purpose of hiking and climbing mountains. Here are some thoughts from wearing it:1) The sock is padded where thick padding is necessary and thin where it is ideally supposed to be thin so that foot or ankle movement is not restricted unnecessarily. The manufacturers of this sock have designed it in a way that there is a good balance of padding and comfort. Note that these two factors, padding/comfort and flexibility of movement are not necessarily possible to maximize in tandem. By this I mean that if you maximize comfort by increasing padding, comfort and flexibility of movement might be minimized. Conversely, if you maximize flexibility of movement by decreasing thickness of the padding, comfort might minimized.2) It is natural to question whether this sock is worth the price. In my opinion, good quality socks that can last are definitely worth the price. For hiking, you do want merino wool to be a large percentage of the fabric used for socks because they naturally breathe and do not stink or trap water like cotton or other materials like polyester.Overall, I do recommend this merino wool sock.

I love that these are cotton. Synthetic socks always leave my feet feeling slimy. And I also like the separated toes. Having fabric between the toes provides another barrier that helps prevent sweat buildup. That said, because they are cotton, if they do get saturated they will be gross for a long time before they finally dry.These are not my first pair of toe socks, so I can say that these will not last quite as long as a comparable pair that can be worn on either foot. This is because you have to wear each sock on the same foot every time and cannot spread out the wear. So any spot that rubs will rub every time and wear through more quickly. It's not a major issue, but it is something to be aware of for anyone considering this style of socks for the first time.I also wish these socks were a bit bigger. They will stretch to fit my feet, but I wish they did not have to stretch as much to fit. I do not have large feet, so anyone larger than a 10.5/11 men's might have trouble.The one thing I really dislike is the color. They are bright yellow. And for no apparent reason at all, they are two tones of yellow. So I definitely can't wear these socks with shorts. They look just plain goofy.
