Decent product, but the black wears off over time. Especially on the edges of the utensils.

I was so excited for this product but it sadly has fallen short of my expectations. The black coating easily chips. I have had them less than a week and there is a large bit of stainless steel showing in parts due to cutting something with the knife and hitting the fork. I found a set tab target that we loved but didn’t want to spend the extra money. I May return and get the better quality ones. Wouldn’t recommend.

This set enhanced our Day of The Dead gathering and was positively commented on by our guests. Although the description uses the word matte for a descriptor, the finish was shiny as pictured. I can't imagine that the "mirror finished" competitors would be any different. The knife, dinner fork, and tablespoon are substantially heavy. Salad/desert fork is lighter duty. We hand washed the set and they were as good as new when we packed them away for next year's Halloween season. I dinged one star on durability because there is absolutely no paperwork or care instructions provided with this set.
