Lovely design and really worth the money. My only criticism is in the instructions. They say to leave quite a large gap around the edge, but I only think this is necessary on a large window. I used this on my panels in my front door and on such a small area the gap is visible and ruins the look slightly. I wish I had ignored the instructions and cut to fit. I am tempted to buy some more and redo it without the gap.

This product worked exactly as expected and is great for our bathroom window. It lets in plenty of light, but adds privacy to our shower. It looks nice, just like textured glass. It's fairly easy to install (a squigee is included, but you could also use the edge of a credit card to smooth out the air bubbles). You will need a spray bottle of soapy water (or you could use a wet cloth, but a spray bottle is recommended) to install.

We ordered this film with some apprehension. I am terrible at lining up anything with an adhesive backing and always mess things up. So imagine my surprise when, after cleaning the window thoroughly, I followed the simple instructions and presto. It worked and looks very professional. Here's what you do to put it on. Simply measure your window and mark the backing paper of the film. Cut to the correct size. Get some tape on both sides of one corner and pull apart to start to separate the film from the backing. Spray the window with water. Pull off the film and lay it on the window. It actually floats on the window so you can slide it from side to side till it fits. Then spray the outside of the film with water so the squeegee glides easily and push all the water out from underneath and you have a perfectly textured window. The film doesn't use a traditional adhesive and is quite rubbery. I think the water and the film make some kind of contact adhesion and it feels like the film can be easily removed if required. It does shrink very slightly after it's been applied and the water has dried. And, when you're all done, it looks like real textured glass.I really like it and recommend it to anyone who wants a window effect with minimal preparation and simple install procedure. It really was that easy; it took less than 15 minutes to do the bathroom window and I was taking my time.
