My wire colors weren’t all correct but looking at the terminals of the old thermostat gave me clues as to where they needed to go on the new one. Wrap the ‘proper’ color tag as you remove each wire and connections will be a breeze.

Despite the literature saying this would not work with a 12 Volt system, I can confirm it works fine with my Dometic 18,000 BTU 12 Volt Furnace in my RV. There is a - 4 + 4 temperature compensation, as well as a "swing level" (Temperature differential setting) Which is extremely handy for small vehicles like RVs. This makes the furnace run or cycle a little more frequently, but it evens out the extreme high and low temperatures. I've been wanting this feature for a while, but no other thermostat I have used has this feature.The thermometer on the thermostat is a little slow in responsiveness and the overall finish has a very cheap feel to it, but I do like its features, again, particularly well suited for an RV.I also like you can access the batteries from the front. Numbers are sufficiently large for easy reading, but It's still a bit difficult to read in dim lighting. You just about need to press the display to turn on the backlit illumination if you want to clearly read the display. The backlight is very nice for viewing, but it turns off pretty quickly to conserve power.I'm using it for a heat-only system so I cannot comment about the fan or cooling aspects of this thermostat or compatibility with heat pumps etc. For an RV I would say it works well, with particularly well-suited features.I have tested this against multiple Honeywell models and Emerson thermostats (White Rogers) and it beat them both. For the price, I think it represents a great value. 1 star removed for build quality, 5 stars for features.
