I had high hopes for this repair stand, it folds and retracts to make storage or transport easy. It weighs about 20 lbs. and the height and clamp position can be adjusted. The specifications say it can handle up to 55 lbs. However, there are some issues which make it less useful than I had hoped. I have a 50 lb. ebike that weighs about 45 lbs. with the battery removed, so it should work and I do think if you are careful with it, a 45-50 lb. bike should work with this stand. The instructions provided with the stand do not include assembly instructions and some assembly is required. I was able to figure out how to assemble the stand, but instructions would have been helpful. The next issue is the clamp that should be attached to the cross tube on the bike (the horizontal tube in a step over frame or the angled tube in a step through frame) - cannot open wide enough to accommodate the tube on my bike. I tried everything I could to make the opening bigger, but it simply will not open wide enough. There is an alternative to clamp the frame using the vertical tube under the seat after changing the clamp angle, but again it is not big enough for the tube on my bike. The final alternative which is really unacceptable is to put the clamp on the seat tube, while it is big enough to do so, putting the clamp there does not provide enough stability for the bike in order to make using the stand for repair work feasible. So, the repair stand is pretty much useless for a bike with oversized tube. If you have a regular road bike, it will probably be fine for that, but for mountain bikes or ebikes that are under 50 lbs. which still tend to have large diameter tubes, you will likely find this stand to be unusable due to the small clamp. Additionally, the shape of the clamp does not seem to be optimal for any tube, even if it was one that fit. Also, it is pretty easy to tip over the stand backwards, so I would recommend backing it up to a wall or workbench to have something that can stop it from tipping all the way over.

I have had many portable bike stands, most have the three or fours legs setup. Those are the most stable, and allow the bike to swing 360 degrees if needed. However those also take up much more space in the garage. This (Teraysun) stand only has 2 legs but balances the bike forward so it's stable. It doesn't allow the bike to swing in the same way but also takes up very little space -- which I appreciate. The clamping mechanism is simple, works and has softer rubber coating so paint or carbon isn't scratched or damaged. I still put old socks over them for my carbon framed bikes... carbon is very fragile. Note that in the manual and website photos they show clamping bikes by the top tube. I'm in the bike business and never do mechanics clamp the top tube unless it is a heavy eBike or some unusual steel bike. Clamping the top tube on a carbon bike could crack it. instead it's best to clamp the seat post. The post can support all the bike weight and at any angle.I liked the toothed clamp binder on this, which guarantees no slippage when the bike is held up at an angle.. it's a good idea. What I didn't like was the release button position -- when you hit the button, the lever flies up and smacks you in the knuckles! That release button should be somewhere else. The Magnetic tray is decent, holds many small tools and it moves around. Overall this is a decent, quick stand when you don't have a lot of space or money and just do occasional minor tuneups and repairs. It's not on the same level as Park Tool or other pro-level, top stands.. but it's also half the price of those and gets the job done.
