Set this on HID mode and it connected readily to my PC. (2.4Ghz) I like the vibration feedback. The screen is a good addition so you know just what you scanned while not near your computer. Battery life is pretty good. Unit came fully charged but I topped it off anyway. And I have scanned about 50 codes and it still is on full charge. Auto power off keeps the unit from consuming extra battery capacity while idle.Comes supplied with a USB A to USB B cable so you can charge it in the supplied cradle or just plugged in straight to the scanner. This is a FAST scanner that scans at short distances. If you are looking for something that will scan at a distance, this is probably not what you are looking for. Scans from 18 - 20 inches is instantaneous though.Scans UPC's and QR codes. The scanner's menus are easy to navigate and make sense. I didn't have to open the thick instruction manual to have this up and scanning in just a couple of minutes.Very happy with this for my application of inventory of electronics hardware and it integrates with my inventory application with ease. Very happy with this unit. The only thing one might not like is the issue of loon distance scans that this is really not made for. For me it's perfect as I am scanning things up close, either in my hand or off the shelf. The screen helps you know if you have scanned the right barcode with visual confirmation of what you scanned. This is a great feature. For my application I am very pleased with this scanner.

This bar code scanner does almost anything that you would need a scanner for. It will connect thru USB, Bluetooth, 2.4GHz WIFI, as well as many others. It includes a docking station that acts as a charger for the internal battery that should allow the scanner to function all day. It will scan almost any bar code that you throw at it, including 2D and 3D, QR codes, and a ton of others. They claim that it will even scan underwater but I didn;t give this a try. The screen allows you to select the display language, sounds, interface, along with bar code information. It will work with almost any application that uses bar codes except for the Square POS system. This scanner is a good choice for your scanning needs.

Now that QR codes are everywhere, it was time to upgrade my old barcode scanner which only supported the "old style" barcodes. This literally scans everything I point it at. Scanning distance seems ideal at around a foot or so. It's rechargeable, so no batteries to feed it constantly (yay!), and the battery life is so far excellent. Note that I haven't even tried to use it until it died, but after running several dozen scans, it's still at full battery, so I'm thinking battery life is a non-issue, especially if you leave it in the charge cradle, which is nice.It has a nice little screen, which my old scanner didn't have at all, which shows all the information you might need, as well as settings to change in the scanner itself. I'm also very happy that it works with pretty much any OS, though I haven't yet tried it with Linux. The quality is awesome, and as I said, it scans QR codes or anything you point it at, which was my primary concern when getting this. The only question is longevity but seeing as it seems to be made really well, I have high hopes. If any problems crop up, I'll be sure to update this. But right now, as it works exactly as it should, 5 stars and recommended.

The little screen is the selling feature here. If you've owned a barcode scanner, you know about the 'scan 50 barcodes from a manual and hope for the best'🤞🏻 method and how annoying it can be when you get it wrong. Using the screen and the buttons, you can change the volume, how it connects (BT, wireless, ect..), see the barcode you scan, and most importantly, see the current settings, so you can troubleshoot. It reads every barcode we use and QR codes, even in the dark with the built in light. Very fast with no misreads so far. The battery life has also been amazing, we didn't have to charge it after it arrived for over a week.(One gripe, it uses a USB-B port for wired connections and charging. You know, the usb printer cable. I don't know how old this model is and it comes with a nice and long cable anyways, so just a gripe, not a complaint.)

As someone with a job working in a stockroom for a factory setting, this thing is great. It easily paired with my work PC by just plugging in the charging base, which also pairs as the receiver. This thing is feature-rich and highly customizable based on your usage and needs. Most of the major settings seem to be adjusted by scanning QR codes provided in the lengthy instruction book.It has a memory mode where I can scan a bunch of barcodes, which get stored in the scanners memory, and can then all be uploaded at once into the PC. Great for my needs, scanning items we are low on so that I can sit down and work on reordering things.Definitely happy with this, and I consider it a big win in my productivity at work.
