Okay, let’s look at Tera P400 Android 11 Barcode Scanner. This thing is built for some serious commercial work. Its rugged design and IP67 rating suggests it could handle the daily grind of a warehouse no problem. The HS7 scan engine is highly precise and captures barcodes flawlessly, even in less-than-ideal lighting. It’s able to handle both 1D and 2D codes making it versatile for modern inventory systems. Powered by an 8-core MediaTek processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, it runs Android 11 smoothly, handling multiple apps without a hitch. It actually loads a full-fledged Android 11 OS with all its features and apps. You can search Google, access messages and email and you can even install new apps from Google Store. The 4-inch touchscreen is surprisingly sharp for its size and pairs perfectly with the 26-key keypad, allowing for quick navigation and tactile data entry. Thee laser barcode scanner is located at the top of the device, and you need to point to the barcode like a wand. It also has a camera on the back that you can use to take photos of products for your inventory records. Whether scanning barcodes on pallets or updating records directly in inventory management, this scanner performs consistently. Its 5100 mAh battery lasts all day, even with heavy use, and the QC 3.0 fast charging (power supply and USB cable included) means it’s ready to go again in no time. The build is rugged and durable yet comfortable to hold, and the elastic strap on the back securely attaches it to your hand. It also includes a free screen protector as a bonus. That said, the device has a few minor flaws. The Android interface, while user-friendly, can feel slightly outdated due to the lack of biometric security options like fingerprint or facial recognition. You can still setup PIN code though. The absence of dedicated volume buttons is a minor inconvenience when navigating media or notifications. Despite that, it’s the best barcode scanner I have ever owned!Bottom line:The Tera P400 Android 11 Barcode Scanner is a rugged, commercial-grade device with an IP67 rating, perfect for demanding environments like warehouses. Equipped with a precise HS7 scan engine, it handles 1D and 2D barcodes flawlessly. Powered by an 8-core MediaTek processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage, it runs Android 11 smoothly, supports Google apps, and features a sharp 4-inch touchscreen with a 26-key keypad. The 5100mAh battery lasts all day, and QC 3.0 fast charging ensures quick recharges. Minor drawbacks include the lack of biometric security and dedicated volume buttons, but overall, it’s an excellent scanner for inventory management. Solid 5 stars product.Pros:1. Rugged IP67 design, perfect for industrial environments.2. Scans 1D and 2D barcodes accurately, even in poor lighting.3. 8-core processor with 4GB RAM ensures smooth operation.4. Runs full Android 11 with access to Google apps.5. Sharp 4-inch touchscreen and 26-key keypad for easy use.6. 5100mAh battery lasts all day, with fast QC 3.0 charging.7. Built-in camera for taking product photos.8. Elastic strap improves handling and grip.9. Includes free screen protector.Cons:1. No biometric security (fingerprint or facial recognition).2. Lacks dedicated volume buttons.3. Android 11 interface feels slightly outdated.

This barcode scanner has a ton of features and does the job easily, holds a charge and charges quickly.. Big or little jobs, this barcode scanner is can keep up with any task. My brother recently started a small business, so I use it there to help him during inventory time. I proved to be highly accurate, is light weight and easily adaptable for my small job to big warehouse jobs. I would definitely by more for more demanding jobs, well worth it.

This isn't like your regular barcode scanners that just scan and work. You will need to use an app (pretty much all of which cost money) or develop your own. For the $370 cost, I'd expect more. One of these days I'll figure out how to actually use this, but until then I've been using the old school scanners.

This scanner has made managing inventory much more efficient and has really sped up the inventory process. The scanner has a built in keyboard and allows for quick data entry. The scanner has a rugged design with waterproof rating so it should be very durable in the long run and last a long time.

It even comes with a screen protector. It's an Android system, and the display effect is not bad, but the brightness is not enough. I'm not a professional courier, but it can check QR codes and one-code passes very quickly, but it only displays numbers or some garbled characters. I don't know what it is used for. If you use it as a mobile phone for the elderly like me, I don't think it is suitable. The lock screen can only support password input, and does not support finger or face recognition, but it supports Chinese, which is very good, but it does not support Chinese input method. If you use it as an mp3 connected to a speaker to play music, you will find that there are no buttons on both sides to adjust the volume, so I won't say more. In summary: if you are not a professional, I don't think this phone is suitable for you.
