Doesn't go flat but very thick. Hurt my neck after 2 nights.

this was VERY firm. I actually had to cut it open and take out a lot of the stuffing or else I was going to injure my neck trying to sleep on it. Now that I took a lot out it's a nice pillow...but I could probably make another pillow with the amount of stuffing I took out.

I first tried this pillow at a mattress store. The associates there randomly gave me this pillow to lay on while I tried a bunch of mattresses. I fell in love with this pillow and actually ended up purchasing it through Amazon right after I left the mattress store (the mattress store didn't have anymore in stock, and it's much cheaper on Amazon). I've been through dozens of pillows throughout my lifetime. They're either too soft, too lumpy, or too firm. I'm primarily a side sleeper and I needed a pillow that'll give me support under the neck. This pillow does just that. Once I switched over to this pillow, my neck and back pain stopped. I've never been so comfortable with a pillow before. It's soft enough for me to hug with one arm underneath, yet firm enough to support my head and neck. I've had this pillow for a couple of months now and I see no signs of lumps or that dip in the middle.

I LOVE this pillow. When we were tying out mattresses I used this pillow and fell in love with it. I was using two pillows previously to sleep and had to flip and plump them during the night. This pillow is the perfect everything for me... height, loft, softness... I had no "break-in" period at all. My husband tried it out and could only sleep on it half the night then needed to go back to his old pillow. He said it was the perfect height for him, but somewhere along the night it bothered him.I will say, this is a heavy pillow! As a side sleeper, it is perfect for me. I don't have to flip my pillow in the middle of the night and my neck doesn't hurt the next day. It is pricey - but worth the good nights sleep.
