Did exactly as we needed. It bored through Conner block and brick so we could install a dryer vent through the house. Perfect, inexpensive tool for the job.

Worked well. Drilled a 6 inch deep hole in concrete.

I had a requirement for a single hole. This made it through brick and then block behind it. I drilled pilot holes around the border as others suggested. I went slow, but the whole process was 20mins or so with lots of stopping and dipping the bit into some water to cool it down.If you want to run a dryer vent see if you can find something slightly bigger. This 4inch bit was a tight fit getting the vent thru but I eventually got it. 4 1/8 would be the sweet spot I think.I have no plans or need to ever use this thing again, so I’m happy I got it for 40. Real ones that a contractor might need run around 200+. It saved me 20 hrs of manual work and at least 3 fights with the misses.
