Pedí dos iguales. Una de ellas cierra y abre bien pero la otra se atora. No recomiendo arriesgarse pues no siempre es la misma calidad.

Tenía instalado un contacto con tapas para la lluvia pero quise conectar una extensión permamente para las luces exteriores, y le puse un enchufe inteligente... pero queda expuesto a la lluvia y el sol. Este es el único al con espacio para poner el enchufe y el conector de la extensión y queda perfectamente protegido.

Es muy bueno para proteger tomacorrientes o contactos donde están a la intemperie, en mi caso los uso donde hay agua cerca y pudiera caerles.Es facil de instalar y el interior es muy amplio, suficiente para poder dar vuelta a cables gruesos 180 grados y podemos canalizarlos a la salida sin problemas.El bloqueo también es muy bueno y puede instalarse tanto vertical como horizontalmente.

Cumple con su función ya pasaron dos buenas lluvias y todo bien esta hermético como recomendación poner un poco de silicon una vez montada para mayor tranquilidad

Was pretty easy to install... less than 10 minutes.Others have commented that they cant remove the cover after installing... IF you look closely, there are 2 hook like tabs on both of the center parts of the hinges. Although it would be " tricky " to lift those out of the way and remove cover at same time with only 2 hands it could be done. Maybe needs to be a 2 person job ..NO these are not as strong as the more expensive grey ones, and personally i don't suggest using theese where you would need to open and close them a lot in cold weather because i think the plastic might be brittle and crack. ( The grey ones are fine in cold weather but also twice the price )As for room, oh yeah lots of room. I needed this to fit a smart switch up into it and another regular cord and still had room left.As for how weather proof... time will tell.Overall i can recommend them but be aware of my " cold weather " warning.

Was able to install this horizontally, which is exactly what I was looking for. I really like that it has enough space inside so that the extension cord can bend (see photo) and fit. My outdoor extension cord is more heavy duty and thick so it definitely needed that extra room. Very easy to install and came with many extra/different cutouts to fit any kind of outlet. Completely rain proof and works well.

Read the other reviews about the clear plastic cover lid. It's hard to snap into place. I spent close to 2 hrs doing this and it should have been 2 mins. One of the other reviews explains using a screwdriver flathead to pop it into place and it did the trick easily. Also, my outlet screw holes were over drilled by prev owner so they would not tighten. Took a while to figure out there are other plastic outlines for holes in this case that line up with extra outlet screw holes not in use. You will need a drill to cut those holes out of the plastic but once done it solved my issue. Now it's nice and tight. Also, there is a hole between the lid and the housing so you can add a padlock to secure the outlet if you need it. Description isn't clear on that. Good purchase, just a hassle to install.

Excelente producto, ocupaba uno para conectar un enchufe inteligente para el hidroneumatico y así encenderlo cada vez que se ocupe.

Cumplió lo que esperaba y fácil instalación. Este modelo es muy amplio para que no se maltraten los cables pero hay otros más pequeños dependiendo el espacio que tengas
