I use this for a back up horn for boating (it's very loud, louder than the boat horn), for carrying in my side by sides in black bear country, and for blasting those nuisance drivers who crank their car music super loud with the windows down. Worth every penny. I have 4 total and refill with hose for filling tire pressure.

It's as loud as advertised and works great on my bicycle against drivers that cut you off or turn on you in a walk zone.

Purchased the horn to scare off coyotes behind our house. Recommend pressure listed on the can is 100 psi, the horn is really loud. The button on top has to be pressed down on fairly hard but can still be pressed with one finger.

Filled the horn and it was great, loudest I've heard. Ran out of air, refilled with hand held pump and wouldn't work. Tried again and again with no luck. For that price it better work more than once.

Excellent product that really does the job. You'll need to purchase an air pump. This can will charge to something like 150 PSI so you need an accurate air gauge to get it to that PSI level. I didn't notice any air leakage over many months. The horn is very loud and serves very well as a non-lethal home security device. It's just plain powerful, not like a big semi-trailer air horn, but still very loud. This would be the best bet for use on a boat. The container for the air is made of metal and looks like it will really hold up a long time. The horn is blue. I spray painted mine black. In fact, you could spray the entire device non-reflective black so as to make it a somewhat camouflaged device you could carry with you if you walk or run at night. I'm sure you could find a carry device or holster. My guess is that you can get perhaps 25 to 50 good 2-second blasts on one charge. Pumping it up is easy. Keep one of these in your glove compartment for whatever emergency situation. Also have one at home for intrusions, burglars, or trespassers. Really gets your undivided attention. Can easily be heard 1/4 mile away and perhaps as far as a mile depending on the background noise around you. If you're thinking about home security, think about this device. It's a whole lot better to scare the bad guys away than to shoot them. Much less paper work after the fact. The bad guys also will thank you for your gesture at a future date.
