I had a really old version of this card that came with my 2014 truck. I plugged this one right in and it worked without any issues. Much cheaper than getting it via the other route. Highly recommend it.

I bought this because I noticed that the current card that I had clearly didn't have all the maps that I needed, and since my SUV only has SYNC 2 in it, you cannot download and get updates via wifi for anything new for the system. The only option is to get an updated maps card like this one. The problem that I had from the first time I installed the card was that it would take what seemed like a minute or two for it to load, and even began having some kind of effect on my SYNC system in general in that it would cause the SYNC system to do a system shutdown and battery save mode every time I turned the vehicle off and on again. I couldn't figure out why it was doing that until I realized it had been doing that since I installed this card, so I took it out, put the old card back in and the strange problems that were occurring with my SYNC system stopped. I'll never used this card again.I mean, when the maps worked, they worked well, as you can imagine, but the rest of the issues it seemed to be causing was not worth it.I do not recommend this product.

We have a 2015 ford focus, and this card has No voice activation, but it's plug in play and works great other than that. With its simplicity I would recommend this product, especially for the price point!
