I bought this because the mic port on my desktop PC wore out and stopped working. This works as a quick and easy solution to be able to use the mic port again using a USB port which my computer has plenty of. The device isn't tiny, but it isn't overly bulky either and is easy to use.Would recommend!

I have been using small 7.1 sound card with a used Bose system I bought on eBay. Never a good sound. I bought this because of its simplicity and price. As soon as I plugged the Bose system into this device, the sound quality improved 200%. Definitely 5 Stars!

OK quality and works with windows without the driver. Good for devices where there is no built in sound card or expansion slot for it.

After installing a new headphone system to my computer all the audio was totally misconfigured and I thought I had turned my desktop completely useless but this little item saved the day.And not only saved my audio system but also improved the quality of the sound over music, dialogs and speach apps. This is a great simple but extremely useful device.

bought this to use on a raspberry pi but it did not work out so well because it is large enough to block the usage of the other 3 ports. oops i should have bought one with a cord.
