1. Compatibilidad con placa base:
La placa base admite la función de división PCIE, que se puede configurar en modo PCIE X4X4X4 o 4X4. La placa base es compatible con la función PCI-E RAID. Para la placa base ASUS admite la función de la tarjeta de expansión HyperM.2X16. Diferentes placas base tienen diferentes canales divididos PCIE. Algunas placas base PCIE RAID son X8+. I bought this item in order to add two additional MVe memory to my new ASUS ROG PC. After installing the memory, really very easy, even for an old man like me, my PC only saw the memory in Slot 1. Thinking Slot 2 was defective, I returned it and asked for a replacement. The Seller was great. Shipped me a replacement ASAP.Replacement board arrived and same issue. I reached out to the Seller who forwarded request to their Supplier. After several days, the Supplier responded with the following:If the computer is turned on, if it supports the PCI-E setting bit X4X4X4X4X4 when it is turned on, the customer needs to confirm that the motherboard does not support the PCI-E splitting function.Evidently my MB does not support the memory splitting of two memories on one PCI-E slot. Check your MB for this function before ordering. If I had known this, I would have looked for a different board, but at the price, I'll keep it.Just want to let others know that the Seller was great! Thanks.

First, this card requires PCIe Bifurcation 4x/4x. What that means is that in your motherboards BIOS you need to tell it to split the slot from 8x to 4x/4x mode or not all your M.2 ssds will show up. This is something YOU have to research on your own for your motherboard. Otherwise I can confirm that it works and at full PCIe 4.0 speeds. I tested extensively with a Samsung 980 Pro 500GB and a MSI M480 Pro 1TB with CrystalDiskMark. I also monitored windows even log and HWiNFO64 and found not WHEA PCIe errors.

Requires lane bifurcation through motherboard. Got it set up and everything worked great first try.

I have an older ASUS Z97-AR mobo. The M.2 socket didn't work with the 1TB "m" slot type stick even though the mobo won't take the "b" type sata stick. Couldn't boot from it so decided to use it as fast secondary storage. This card gave me two m type slots and I added a second 1TB stick. Discovered SLOT 2 on this card will not be recognized on this mobo. I believe it is due to the mobo unable to split PCIe channels. Product support suggests I remove graphics card. LOL! This renders the system unusable so this was not the "Good Solution" I thought it was. If I change mobo's then I will test this again but for now it works with only one m.2 stick. Transfers between this and SATA SSD's are as fast as SATA can handle. Even with the limitation with SLOT 2 I am still pleased with the product.

The card does not support two drives.Lots of garble about the motherboards having to have split this etcSimple solution a list of only supported motherboards.---This card says it's 8x pcie and has two m2 connectorsinstalled in asus d10-pe 16 server board (2 8x and 3 16x) currently in 8x and second drive not showing up.Slot 1 is C drive and it boots without any issues ... but does not see the second driveBoth drives are samsung 970 evo plus m2--Best I can dig out of it all ... is it's actually two 4x connectors in an 8x card and only works on motherboards that have a split option on them. Compatible con placa principal antigua; fácil de instalar. Le instalé un SSD M2 PCIe de 2T y lo reconoció de inmediato.
