I've been playing the device for a few weeks now, and I love it! The shell is gorgeous, and the gameplay is fun, with all the different characters to raise (at least for someone who never played tamagotchi connections before). I'am currently starting my 3rd generation, so I did not have duplicate characers yet. Overall, I'm very happy to have this device in my collection. I did not yet have to replace the batteries, whereas on the anniversary version I had the low battery screen after 2 weeks I think. So far, so good.

My very first Tamagotchi ever was the Connection v4, so when I saw they were remaking Connection, obviously I had to grab one! This version is based mostly on the v3, but it's still so incredibly nostalgic! I collect Tamagotchis on and off, and love that I get to add this one to my collection. It's super cute and works great! Absolutely 100% recommend!By the way, I saw some reviews complaining about not being able to turn off the sound or pause the Tamagotchi. You definitely can turn off the sound and there's a way to temporarily pause. So, if you press the A and C buttons at the same time together on the main screen, it should pop up and ask if you want the sound on or off.While the pause option is not as cut and dry, you technically can pause, albeit it can be quite annoying sometimes. If you hit B, you will see the time screen. Pressing A and C together while the time screen is up should let you set the time. While the time set menu is active, your Tamagotchi will not progress and is essentially, "paused." But the annoying part is, you have to re-set the time to unpause. They do end up giving you an actual pause function in the v4, which is great because you don't have to re-set the time anymore. Fingers-crossed they remake the v4 next and bring back Tama Town 🤞

I absolutely LOVE my Tamagotchi Connection. I am so happy these were created since the vintage models are SO expensive on sites like ebay. These are like the originals. Fun, fits in your hand perfectly, and brings back so many fun and happy memories!
