Dang that’s a tight fit! Cases came well packaged with a bubble wrap and a protective film over it to keep scratches away. The manufacturer should make these about 1/8” or 1/4” bigger on all sides! My autographed mini helmets did fit but I had to slide it in snuggly. I was afraid the helmet would scratch the inside of the box!The plastic case is very clear and you need to remove the film on the case, see my photos. I didn’t remove the film totally just wanted to show you how it looks. If it wasn’t for the tight fit I’d be keeping these cases!! ;)The bad news is it’s a tight fit on top too, so the lid doesn’t close all the way down either. One side or the other pops open about 1/16”+ on the top cause the helmet is as tall as the side walls. I’m disappointed cause I was looking forward to using these cases! I’m going to return them tomorrow and look for a slightly larger case!

When I received this product, not only was it cracked but every single case had black sharpie written on it. Very disappointing to say the least.

Only leaving a review because some others were so bad. The cases come with a protective wrap on each side and most of those have a magic marker stripe on them. It says very clearly to peel the film off and it is not the easiest thing to do but it is very obvious that the film needs to be removed. I got the 4 pack and 1 had a small crack but that is hardly noticeable and if you use the " lid" ( where the cracks seem to be ) as the base it is invisible. The fit for a football helmet is tight but it's the chin strap that seems to add the little extra so manipulating the strap a bit helps. A mini baseball helmet on the other hand is much tighter but sorta fits. Again flipping the case upside down helps with the physical weight of the case to hold itself down.

I bought these in the hopes of storing some mini helmets in them and the helmets don’t fit. An 8th of an inch taller and they would fit. You would think the company would measure a mini helmet before manufacturing themThe cases also came cracked and after peeling off the protective film they look nice, just too small for a helmet. No point buying these for helmets

If you have one or two mini helmets, spend the money on a couple nice ones. That being said, I started collecting have a rapidly growing collection. They’ve worked on all my mini helmets - not sure where the size complaints come from. I have Riddell brand mini helmets. Also, if you’re reading the 1 star reviews because ‘they’re not clear and have a black slash on each side’ peel the protective film off. Some of mine came with minor cracks on the lid piece, but they’re not noticeable. Overall it’s not worth sending them back so that’s the reason for the 4 and not 5. I’ll be buying more since the price is right.
