This packing envelope is comparable in size and function to another one I have from a big name high quality travel brand at half the price. The plastic piece for folding and for protecting the top of the pile is actually a little better than the big name one. It works very well unless you try to overstuff it, which I can do with my other one. The hook and loop fastener on this one is not as adhesive and it cannot handle keeping the envelope closed under significant stress. Depending on your needs, it will probably be fine. If you mean to overstuff it as I do, it isn't up to that. Only deducted 1 star since you are really not supposed to overstuff packing envelopes.

My daughter travels a lot and recommended this. This appears to be just what I was looking for. Even though I am not going on a trip soon, I tried it out - my shirts folded up neatly using the guide and I was able to get several in the compression pack. It's amazing how compact my shirts became. Shirts are usually a packing problem for me, so I can't wait to use it the next time I travel!

Very nice high quality shirt, pant, and skirt packing accessory. Just use the included board to perfectly fold your clothes so that they fit perfectly in this little envelope. Stick it in your luggage and your good to go. I do a lot of traveling and this is a great solution to help me get there with shirts that still look good enough to wear to a meeting. Just a note to the manufacturer: The folding board shows lists the word "Shirt" with directions on how to fold a shirt. "Pants" with directions to fold pants, and then "shirt" again with directions for folding a skirt. It's just a typo (Shirt instead of Skirt) but you might want to fix it for the future. This is a great tool that I plan to take with me on many trips.

I travel for work and pleasure frequently and thought I'd give this a shot to help minimize the bulk in my luggage. The instruction sheet gives you an easy step by step method to fold your shirts, pants, and other garment items. It worked well for button downs and lightweight items, but still bulked up when adding lightweight sweaters and cotton tees. Not sure it was the best travel solution but it did help fold all my travel items and will help on the day to day with laundry items.
