Seems fine. I wasn't happy that I had to find a small TV to use to set it up as my laptop doesn't have a video in port. Once plugged into a smartish TV it was easy. I just followed the on screen instructions.

The item is just what i ordered except it does not have an Australian plug. I used our old adaptor as this was replacing an older Hard drive. Works well.

I bought this to replace my old DVR that was no longer recording due to age. I was able to use my previous equipment with this DVR and as soon as it started up it was working as intended. I can now view live video and recorded video on my phone. The steps were easy.
