These Gas springs dont include the parts to attach the Gas springs to your furniture, therefore are unusable.Plus they dont include any instruction leaflet or even a video on how to install. We had to Youtube many video clips to learn how to install properly and as many video clips include warnings on how important correct installation is to safety when using the product, this is a serious oversight in my opinion.

I used the Suspa 120Lb gas springs on a recently added heavy duty 4' trailer ramp. I made the ramp out of 3/16" square tubing and angle iron so it could handle the weight of our UTV . I can lift it but my wife wanted to be able to lift it too...thus the lift assist. As you can see in pic I used two 120lb then added two 80lb and now she can lift it. These are really strong and you will need something to compress them. Also they are too strong for most of the standard brackets( which bent or pulled the ball out). I made my own out of angle iron and bought some bolt in ball studs on Amazon from Beneges that have held up well. I will by Suspa again.

Acheté ce produit pour soulevé un toit de remise en bois pour une génératrice. Très fort car le toit est lourd.Après ajustement c'est parfait.Je recommande ce produit.

Bought these to help open my ridiculously heavy storm shelter door. my wife couldn't open the door by herself, so if I wasn't around, my family couldn't get into the shelter. now my wife can open and close it by herself and I don't have to throw my back out to open it. plus being underneath that door while it was closing was a serious danger of crushing someone. now it lowers smoothly with little effort.As far as longevity, I am more worried about the brackets pulling out of the wall than the springs losing pressure because they are so strong. Installed for 3 months now with no problems.
