I keep this around as a spare. I lost one last year and within a half hr had my hot water up and running. No one wants to be without hot water in this day and age

Don’t let your local plumber do an emergency call at 10pm when your hot water goes out and your kids can’t shower after a fay of outside play and your wife hasn’t washed her hair in 3 days and the dishes in the dishwasher are dirty and the laundry is piling up because you don’t have hot water.Don’t let the plumber quote you ELEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS to fix the problem hopefully in the next 2-3 business days when they can get the part ordered from their “parts department.”Don’t say “well, what are we going to do? We need hot water so let’s pay it!”Buy this, watch the guy on YouTube show you how to replace it (it’s literally 5 screws), and have hot water for $30 in less than 24 hours.Do this first. It’ll solve your problem and you’ll feel great about yourself that you fixed your home and saved yourself a thousand bucks.This is probably the one that fits. It’ll come quick. It’ll be easy to replace. You’ll have hot water. Bob’s your uncle.

Water heater wasn't working. I had two companies tell me this was going to be a very expensive repair. I actually had someone come out and charge me a $69 service fee to look at it, THEN when he got here ihe said it was another $150 "diagnostic fee." After that, he told me it would be $300 to fix the problem. Nope, nope, nope. Take your service fee, and your diagnostic fee, and just go. I'll figure it out myself! Youtube, $35, and under 10 minutes later, and fixed it!I wish I hadn't wasted so much money trying to get a "professional" to do the job. Now I know better for next time.If your gas, tankless water heater isn't heating water....buy this part and look how how to install on youtube. It's easy!!!!
