Aug 6, 2024 EDIT:My rating has not changed. However, I have discovered there is an issue with the ice cube size which is not allowing the cubes to fit through the inside tray delivery slot/dispenser. It is basically blocking or jamming the exit to the dispenser shoot. I had confirmed for the Kenmore 25370443411 icemaker tray to be #243297606 which was replaced with the part #243297613. This company sells part #243297609 which it is supposed to be compatible with original part #243297606. Well, not exactly. [END of EDIT}Frist make sure to confirm the part number for your ice maker and fridge. Mine was the exact replacement. There are no instructions included but Installation is pretty easy except for the plastic ties you need to snip in order to separate the wires from the housing. Someone referenced a Youtube video which helped: [How To: Frigidaire/Electrolux Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly 243297613]Be very careful with the unit because the parts are very fragile, especially the thermocouple attached at the bottom of the ice tray. If anything detaches or breaks its game over. Also be careful when opening the product box, be gentle to avoid breaking anything.After installation I turned on and off the ice maker, it began making ice. Just in case I threw out the first batch. I am happy now I have a lot of ice!!!

My original Frigidaire side-by-side ice maker failed when it stopped releasing frozen cubes. This caused water to be poured over the tray with cubes still in it Water would then overflow and pool at the bottom of the ice maker bin. This pointed to a tray replacement (this part). I verified the tray visually and found my refrigerator in the list of supported models.Removing and replacing the tray takes only a few minutes. Two bolts are removed to pull out the complete ice maker assembly. Three bolts on the ice maker are removed to access the tray itself. The tray snaps out by depressing a plastic single tab.I assume there are repair instructions online. I didn't need them. The design of the ice maker allows for easy - and obvious - replacement of the tray.My ice maker is now functioning correctly.

I was a little skeptical about the ice maker fitting my refrigerator but it was exactly the same as the one that was broken. It was really easy to install. Unplug the fridge and there are easy instructions on YouTube. Frigidaire has a recall on the icemaker that came with the fridge. I didn't realize that until I had replaced it with this one. I have been in contact with Frigidaire and hope to submit the receipt for reimbursement from them. Check your model number on the Frigidaire website, you may be entitled to the replacement cost.
