There's not a ton to say here - it's an adapter to allow the use of a 1/4" screw-in tool on a hot or cold shoe. It does that fine - the question is whether or not it's well-made... it is.All metal, as expected, in a nice gunmetal finish. Knurling on the tightening ring is good and consistent, and the threads are well machined and allow the ring to be easily tightened and loosened without a hint of binding.If you need an adapter that does what this one does, this one works great.

Hadn't seen an adapter this style before, but needed something like this for an external battery mount on my camera rig. Found this and does what I need it to. Nice addition to my camera bag.

There's not much to say about this adapter other than it's extremely well made. It slides on as a cold shoe with the right amount of tolerances, and locks in place easily. Then screwing 1/4 x 20 accessories into this adapter was also easy. Bottom line, if you need to adapt 1/4" to a cold shoe, then this is a great one to get!

I ordered this for my home studio setup, and it’s been a fantastic addition.
