Made in china , which I knew. Stainless but china stainless is non to rust. Seemed on the cheap/lite side but how heavy do you need it ? And the price was good. One tack weld on that hold the screen on came off. Where the screen comes together needs to be wired together for a light fit so when the rotary cleaning brush goes up the stack it does not ripped up. I was afraid it was not going to tighten up enough on my 61/2 to 63/4 inch flue pipe but the tightening adjustment is more then they say and it tightened up really well. I can not see it blowing off in the NH winter. Fire in the wood stove is going right now with no wind outside and it venting good along with yesterday when it was windy and venting good. It is worth the price

The cap is adjustable which enabled a secure fit. It was easy to attach and is of excellent quality metal. It has solved the problem of my furnace pilot light being blown out during windy weather. Very pleased with the cap.
