installed twelve of these only to discover that the 6000k color was not even 5000k. It is more like 4000k. Which is a problem for me because it is installed right near other lights which ARE 5000k. Very frustrating to discover this only after cutting, wiring and installing 12 of them...

These are super low profile and very easy to install. It took me longer to remove the old ones vs putting these in. They go from super bright to a nice low light. I highly recommend these to anyone that’s never installed recessed lighting before.

Love the lights. They are bright and the color is adjustable. The only thing I don't like is the stupid spring. It is strong but difficult to get the light in place and seem flimsy. All in all still a 5 star light that I will be buying more of.

So I just installed these to replace the 3500k temp lights we had. These go to 5000k temp and this is more comfortable. The price was economical though I bought the 12 pack, needing only 7. So I have back ups. And these offer a nice high lumen count, like almost surgical level.A couple cons worth noting. Unlike the units I took out, these had small plastic wire boxes. There wasn't enough room inside them to shield the wire connections. Plus, these have no grounding wire. That just seems dumb. There are two wires from these boxes to connect to the power, one white and one black. The wire ends are not solid so push-in wire connectors are a no go. They provide two wire nuts per wire box but if you have to contact to two live wires in the ceiling, they're too small. I ended up using the yellow size Ideal brand wire nuts which worked better for that. Whatever wire nut you use, wrap the bottom of the nut and the wires with electrical tape, good safety precaution. Finally, as has been noted by others, the springs to hold these up in the ceiling are thin and flimsy. I expect they'll keep the lights up there but when installing they may try to pop off or come inside. Considering the price per light, it's still a decent solution but be prepared for some frustration and choice language.

We love these lights. Easy to install and adjust. A great value for your home or remodeling. These have 5 settings for brightness. They appear so much brighter than our old ones. Will buy again.
