I waited a long time before purchasing these brown "suede" mary janes, asked a question about whether they were real suede, because the many shoes being offered in this listing say polyurethane on the non-suede versions so was hoping these were actual suede. Nobody could answer the question, had to order to find out they are not, they are plastic faux-suede and they smell like the usual cheap China stuff, very disappointing. I will keep them & line the bottom w/flannel shoe liner (purchased on Etsy as a wingless panty-liner) when wearing so my feet don't become a swampy science experiment.Overall the fit is fine, true to size, no particular foot support so I won't be doing a lot of walking in these. I will not be purchasing from this seller again, though.

VERY pleasantly surprised with how comfortable these ballets flats are! The squared toe makes them very modern and on trend and the supple material means you don't even have to break them in. There's some padding which makes these more comfortable than you're average flat, but I wouldn't recommend for all0day heavy walking, especially if you're flat footed. If you plan on adding an insole of any kind I would definitely size up a half size, otherwise they are true to size. You don't get that toe crunch like you do in a lot of ballet flats, so I ordered my actual size of 7 and they fit perfectly. The best part is since your toes lay flatter than they do in most shoes, you can definitely wear these all day easily; I just wouldn't plan on heavy walking simply because there isn't enough padding to sustain that level of wear, but it's comfortable enough to go about your regular errands, etc. Looks ways more expensive than they are, and a great value!
