What a great fondue pot! The pot came up to temperature quickly, and melted the cheese easily. It was also easy to regulate the temperature, so it never burned or scorched. The fondue pot is the perfect size for a dinner for two to four people, or appetizers for a crowd. I'm thinking of buying another one, so I can make a cheese fondue and a chocolate dessert fondue. Great value for the money!

I decided to get this for the holidays to switch things up a bit. I made beer cheese and it stayed melted the whole night. I have had fondue sets in the past that used sterno and this one is so much easier and efficient.

It's a pretty standard fondue set. It heats up cheese and chocolate without burning it. I haven't tried this with water, so can't say if this works for shabu shabu. I haven't tried it with oil, so can't say if this fries well. For cheese and chocolate though, it works fine. It's easy to control. The groves in the top make for keeping the forks in place. This works reliably so far. This is definitely not fancy, but it's utilitarian and works. It's not too hard to clean.
