I bought this gym bench since I wanted a cheap alternative for nordic curl. Overall, I like the steel-based frame. But the base of the padding that serves as an interface between the padding the frame did not seem to be strong. I felt that the ones in a standard gym is better.

I spent a lot of time researching what bench would fulfill my needs, and this surpasses every bench in its price range. It was easy to assemble and the welds and hardware are durable enough that I only need to concentrate on the weight I'm lifting rather than my bench collapsing. I am a 185lb man and have bench pressed 205lbs and the bench felt very secure. I also do pullovers laying across the bench horizontally, and there is no wobble like on a cheaper bench. If you are a larger person and bench pressing 300+ lbs then you are going to want something more professional in quality, but for a home gym with light to moderate weights this will be enough for most people.

Bench in box doesn't feel too heavy but tell you what... Its a tank.. very solid feeling bench. Easy to read instructions that actually make sense. Assembly is a total of 4 screw bolts and washers with 6 screws for seat with washers. 15mins tops. Really happy with the bench . Time will tell how it holds up. Really surprised at quality for price! Steel body did a great job with it.

Llevo unos meses usándolo y está genial! Cojea un poco pero una vez encima, ni de inmuta. Lo recomiendo!

El banco muy bien resistente ,pero lo único que no me parece es que no tienen cuidado con los tornillos me mandaron otros qué nada que ver con el banco,totalmente diferente ni un solo tornillo le sirvió tuve que comprar,pero lo demás todo bien

After using FID benches for years, I decided to move to a flat bench. The first one I got was okay, but after a couple years, I wanted something that had a wider pad. I bought one that we returned, and the same night we returned it, I ordered this one, the Steelbody Deluxe Versatile Rated 800 lbs Flat Utility Workout Bench.I'll be honest. I've owned a few pieces of Marcy fitness equipment, and they're okay considering price and size, but when I saw that Steelbody ws an Impex/Marcy brand, I had a moment of concern. Still, the reviews were enthusiastic, and the bench looked like exactly what I was looking for, so I thought "Why not?"This bench ticked every box on my list. Our workout area isn't large, so we wanted something not too long, and the pad on this bench is 43", but it's wider than most, which I very much prefer. And it's wider on one end than the other, which makes it more versatile. The pad is firm but has some give on the top, and the cover is fairly thick with some texture. Everything metal is strong and sturdy, and the rubber feet stick to our hardwood floor well. The handle is also well-placed and the wheels work well. And it was easy to build. It has no smell of any kind.In fact, so far this Steelbody Deluxe Flat Utility Workout Bench is exactly what I was looking for. It's comfortable, sturdy and stable, and it's easy to roll to a corner, closet or the side of the room. One side of the pad is 12" wide, the other is 15" wide, and that leads me to one more thing I really appreciate - the description and measurements of the bench are accurate. This is a big thing, as most benches I've tried make inaccurate claims, exaggerate or leave things out of their descriptions.I've been through a number of benches, mostly more expensive than this one, but this one really delivers on what I was looking for. For those looking for a wider flat bench that's sturdy, stable, comfortable and reasonably priced, this is one I'd recommend.

Excelente banca con acabados de muy buena calidad por un excelente precio. No se tambalea ni mucho menos y se ve que aguanta mucho peso.
